We are currently seeking out 1 AMAZING Production Operator for our Fabrication Assembly Department on the day shift.
What you’ll be doing:
- Reading and interpreting drawings/blueprints to determine the depth, width, angle and grinding requirements in order to prepare for fabrication of material
- Operating grinders, drills, buffers, and/or other equipment as necessary to fabricate parts
- Set-up, adjusting and operating machinery/equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Preparing work to be completed by reviewing work orders, material, products, gauges, machinery and equipment
- Inspecting finished products for defects and conformance to specifications and quality standards
- Fabricating, assembling, and repairing material using hand tools, power tools and other equipment such as tape measures and calipers
- Material handling
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
What gives you the edge:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing experience
- Mathematical aptitude
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for long periods of time
- High attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and a willingness to learn new skills
