Description Position Overview: The Production Operator is responsible for operating equipment safely and effectively for production processing and will work under the guidance of the Operations Supervisor to perform and complete the assigned duties in timely manner. The Production Operator will also comply with all standard operating procedures and requirements and conduct all company related business in a professional, safe and efficient manner, in full compliance with company policies. Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities: The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Operate foam blending panels and manage foam batch preparation with precision and adherence to safety standards Assist in batch preparation Clean and maintain production equipment and work areas to ensure safety and prevent contamination. Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire apparatus, tools, and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal operating condition. Operates trucks and other industrial vehicles to transfer the production equipment between warehouse and working area. Adhere to safety policies, regulations, and hazardous material handling procedures. Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation. Package, label and weigh Solberg & Phos-Chek® products Accurately complete production records and document lot numbers for all shipments. Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety. Manage work order shipments and data entry using ERP systems such as NetSuite. Collect, label, and document representative quality control samples in accordance with standard procedures. Assist Operations Supervisor and other Operators in the production of Solberg & Phos-Chek® Class A & B Suppressant Foams Ensure a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for production employees Participate in executing the Plan and Schedule Production with guidance of the U.S. Operations Director and Operations Supervisor Material handling, warehousing, and shipping of Solberg & Phos-Chek® suppressant products Maintain Physical control of non-conforming raw materials and finished goods Assist in maintaining accurate production records within ERP system Adhere to compliance regulations for D.O.T., industrial Hygiene, OSHA, etc. Requirements Must have experience working in a chemical manufacturing or industrial environment Actively participate in annual safety training Certified to safely operate forklifts in compliance with OSHA standards. Demonstrated ability to convey information clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing Strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on professionalism, empathy, and respect in all interactions ERP experience, NetSuite or Epicor preferred Experience with order fulfillment, work orders, issuing parts, item receipts, etc. Ability to lift 50 pounds
