• Creating high quality foods that are eaten EVERYDAY, NATIONWIDE
• Responsible for overseeing extruder, mixing, ingredients or roll, oven processes and packaging line.
• Operate and monitor multi-function process control machinery (and ERP system) through control
• panels, computer terminals or other control systems to mix, blend, cook or otherwise process food products, and to bag, box or otherwise package food products.
• Responsible for set ups and maintain proper adjustments of the machinery and equipment, which
• could include clearing jams and performing quality checks.
• Formulate, monitor and ensure proper batch formulas and batch procedures.
• Participate in startup, changeover, and shut down of operating equipment.
• Calibrate processing systems daily to meet required specifications.
• Responsible for overseeing quality and area upkeep, work closely with Q.C. to assure conformity of
• product to customer requirements.
• Assist the Production Supervisor/Lead Person in achieving scheduling requirements.
• Record production metrics data such as quantity, weight, size, density, moisture… and types of
• products packaged to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Monitors product flow, delivery and reject systems.
• Ensures line is running efficiently and prepared for schedule runs.
• Ability to rotate and learn different areas of the production line/multiple lines.
• Responsible for area housekeeping, weekly cleaning processes and sanitation functions, maintain a
• clean and organized work area, by following daily housekeeping and 6S standards.
• Work with other team members to ensure objectives are being met, including aiding other areas
• within department as needed.
• Ability to provide on-the-job training to new employees.
• Operate and troubleshoot problems with machinery/equipment and partner with maintenance staff to resolve issues.
• Report equipment problems and the need for preventive maintenance with team leader/supervisor.
• Promote and maintain a culture and attitude of continuous improvement, working within the
