JOB SUMMARY

We are a growing family business seeking a reliable and skilled uPVC Fabricator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with uPVC profiles and be confident using both hand and power tools. This role involves fabricating windows, doors, and double-glazed units to precise specifications, contributing to the production of high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in uPVC fabrication or a manufacturing/assembly environment is highly desirable
  • Competent in the use of hand and power tools
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work to tight tolerances
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative

Responsibilities
  • Fabricate uPVC windows, doors, and double-glazed units following technical drawings and work instructions
  • Operate machinery and tools such as saws, welders, and corner cleaners specific to uPVC fabrication
  • Carry out accurate measuring, cutting, and assembling of profiles and components
  • Perform quality checks at various stages of production to ensure finished products meet company standards
  • Maintain a tidy and safe work environment in line with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to meet daily production targets
  • Report any defects, equipment faults, or production issues promptly
