PRODUCTION OPERATOR

Rathfinny Wine Estate is looking for a full-time Production Operator to assist in the production and distribution of our world-class Sussex sparkling wines.
Main aspects of the role involve:
· Actively participating in the set-up, operation, cleaning and maintenance of all production operations including Bottling, Riddling, Disgorging & Labelling.
· Assisting in stock control and warehousing of dry goods, additives, part-made and finished stock
· Assisting in the record keeping, quality control and monitoring associated to operations.
· Assisting in the inspection, cleaning and maintenance of premises & equipment.
· Working in a way that ensures safety, quality, hygiene and good manufacturing practices are upheld.
· Supporting winery at key points in the year including harvest.
The successful candidate will enjoy working in a production environment, be able to manually handle wine in bottles, cases (up to 16kg), be self-motivated and able to perform repetitive tasks at a good speed, have an eye for detail and confidence with record keeping and figures. They should also be enthusiastic about the production of Sussex sparkling wines and enjoy working with a small team.
Prior production and forklift experience would be advantageous but not necessary. Personal and career development will be supported, and the candidate should aspire to progress within the production side of the wine industry.

Holiday entitlement: 25 days plus bank holidays.
