Essential Criteria:
1. A minimum of 1 years experience in a warehouse environment.
3. Previous forklift truck experience.
Key Tasks and Duties:
1. Read and understand work orders, instructions, or pick lists to determine the required materials for kitting.
2. Collect and gather the necessary items, components, or parts from designated storage areas or inventory locations.
3. Inspect and verify the accuracy of items being gathered, ensuring that they meet quality standards and match the specifications.
4. Count, weigh, or measure components as needed to ensure accurate quantities are included in each kit.
5. Package and assemble kits according to established procedures, ensuring all components are securely and neatly arranged.
6. Label or mark kits with appropriate identification or tracking information for easy identification and inventory control.
7. Collaborate with other team members, such as warehouse staff or production supervisors, to coordinate kitting activities and ensure timely completion of orders.
8. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitting area, including storage racks, shelves, and workstations.
9. Perform regular inventory checks to monitor stock levels and report any discrepancies or shortages to the appropriate personnel.
10. Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, transport materials to and from the kitting area, if required.
