QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment would be beneficial
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks
• Proficient in English with good communication skills
• Experience using various hand tools and machinery
• Ability to solder
• Ability to work effectively and to deadlines in a team-oriented environment whilst also being self-motivated
• FLT certification would be helpful, but not mandatory

The Production Operator is an onsite role at our factory and warehouse in Harworth, Doncaster, with responsibility for the production of LED tape and profile lighting solutions for our key clients. Accuracy, consistency and attention to detail are very important in order to maintain a high standard.

Responsibilities include:

• Production of LED tape & aluminium profiles. This includes the cutting of LED tape, aluminium profiles and then soldering and a light-up test before packing to individual order or bulk contract requirements
• Picking and packing of orders
• Assistance in general goods in / goods out procedures
• Assistance in stock taking and cycle counts
• Assistance in loading and unloading of deliveries when required
• Keeping working areas clean and tidy

Key daily and weekly KPIs will include:

• Number of LED tapes and profiles produced
• Number of parcels picked and packed
• Daily / Weekly clean up

The hours of work are Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 4.30pm.
