A few production roles have arisen at Zeina Foods, Ossett, Monday to Friday.

Working in the food industry the role entails:

• Ensuring compliance with all BRC, customer and internal requirements relating to food safety, quality and legality.
• To assist in the preparation, production, packing and housekeeping of all production areas as requested.
• To ensure that all product meets customer specifications and the immediate reporting of any deviation from the required standards to supervisory staff and management.
• To ensure that all paperwork is completed in time and is accurate.
• To ensure company compliance with food safety, HACCP, allergen management, legality and quality systems.
• Observes all conditions in Employees Health & Safety handbooks
• To ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (G.M.P)
• Start-up checks are completed accurately and documented on relevant paperwork to ensure product and employee safety.
• Responsible for production and quality assurance checks during operational running in line with customer/technical/quality standards.
• Ensure the operational area is kept clear & tidy adopting the “clean as you go” attitude.
• Will undertake in depth cleaning of the facility and machinery as deemed necessary, ensuring all paperwork is completed daily.
• Responsible for reporting to supervisory staff and management any concerns or knowledge of broken/damaged equipment which may have a negative impact on productivity.

Experience working in a food environment is essential.

Salary: From £12.21 per hour, rising to £12.60 after a successful probationary period.
