OVERVIEW OF ROLE The role is centered on raising & scheduling work orders against actual demand to ensure shipments are delivered to customers on time , allowing for component lead times, equipment and staff availability and product dependencies. Reporting to the supply chain planner the role will work closely with production team leads, Procurement, production engineering and revenue operations. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and manage a realistic, achievable Production Schedule Manage and optimise equipment & technician utilisation. Understand business short and long term priorities and align production schedules to optimise for these. Schedule Calibration of finished goods where required, minimising schedule disruption. Identify potential bottlenecks and resolve or escalate. Partner with Procurement to identify and resolve raw material constraints. Communicate delivery dates with Revenue Operations teams. Understand production dependencies. Review forecast and identify and escalate potential risks to forecasted demand. Lead-time management Communicate lead times of finished goods based on lead times for raw materials and production. Set accurate internal lead times for finished goods within the ERP. Escalate large orders or enquiries to ensure accurate lead times are provided internally. Manage internal leadtimes in ERP. Maintain strong Cross Functional Alignment Align with Purchasing and Order Management teams to resolve schedule gaps. Coordinate with Production Engineering teams to minimise downtime and optimise outputs. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS 2+ years production planning, inventory management, or manufacturing desirable Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or related certifications desirable Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong communicator with the ability to cut through complexity In-depth knowledge: Production planning methodology, bottleneck identification, critical path analysis Experience using ERP/MRP - Salesforce desirable Advanced Office skills specifically excel Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. Knowledge of production forecasting, capacity planning, and production cost control. Familiarity with supply chain management best practices. Defining character attributes: Resilient with strong attention to detail Comfortable with frequent change and ambiguity and ability to work independently
