Position Overview As a Production Planner, you will manage the flow of all materials and components through the business. You will ensure the production team has work in their queue, the correct priorities, and a clear path to build without blockers. This role requires a strong team player who can work across functional groups to achieve company-wide goals in a rapid-growth environment. What You’ll Do: Create production plans that translate sales/forecasts to a production plan that the procurement team can execute against. Release work orders to Production and kit requests to Inventory. Create visibility of material positions using line-of-balance, shortage, and clear-to-build reports. Support prioritization and expedite subassemblies to support integration timelines. Update demand to accommodate engineering change orders and communicate changes to procurement What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or a relevant field. 2+ years of experience in production planning or manufacturing support Proficiency in MRP and ERP systems, as well as MS Office (Excel), basic math, and statistics. Proven ability to conduct clear-to-build reviews and expedite materials through production. Experience in aerospace, automotive, or other disruptive manufacturing industries. Experience with AS9100 or US export controls is a plus.
