Job Title: Production Planner Position Summary The Production Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules that support efficient manufacturing operations and on‑time delivery. This role partners with planning, production, purchasing, and logistics teams to balance demand, capacity, and material availability in a fast‑paced environment. Ideal for candidates with 1–3 years of scheduling, planning, or manufacturing experience looking to grow in operations. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity, and material availability. Coordinate with production, materials, procurement, and logistics teams to adjust schedules as needed to meet customer and business requirements. Monitor production progress and proactively identify constraints, delays, or capacity issues. Update schedules in ERP or planning systems to ensure accurate and timely data. Communicate schedule changes clearly to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment across departments. Support inventory management by aligning production schedules with material availability and lead times. Analyze production data, work orders, and performance metrics to support continuous improvement efforts. Assist with planning for engineering changes, new product introductions, or demand fluctuations. Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in production scheduling, manufacturing planning, supply chain, or operations. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis. Experience working with ERP or production planning systems preferred. Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grafton, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $36.06/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
