General Information Job Title: Production Planner Department/Area: Materials Job Objective The Production Planner is responsible for reviewing material requirements according to the master production schedule to ensure that materials are available in the required quantity and at the right time for manufacturing. This role also maintains adequate inventory levels and ensures alignment with customer demand. Main Responsibilities Receive customer demand through the Demand Analyst. Keep the daily and weekly scheduling control file updated. Review and analyze material shortages and discrepancies with the warehouse. Schedule and follow up on shortages with production. Conduct physical review and daily scrap reporting. Monitor future customer requirements together with Customer Service Representatives. Follow up on production line parts to avoid shortages. Maintain adequate levels of strategic raw material inventories. Track scrap and rejections daily to prevent discrepancies. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree completed. Minimum 1 year of experience in similar positions. Experience in the automotive/manufacturing industry required. Required Competencies Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel (mandatory). Knowledge of inventory and warehouse control (desirable). Familiarity with Kanban and/or Just-in-Time systems (desirable). Teamwork skills. Sense of urgency. Conversational English required. Job Conditions Salary: $45,000 MXN. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, with availability to attend early morning calls. Required mobility between Apodaca and Guadalupe plants.
