Description Job Summary: This role will plan, prepare, issue, and monitor production and assembly schedules and jobs used to manufacture components and complete tools. Timely completion and delivery of end products will ensure the company goals and on time customer orders. Responsibilities for this position include looking for ways to improve productivity and reduce cost. The ability to identify areas for improvement and research possible solutions is important. This is a great position for someone who enjoys continuous learning, analyzing and problem solving in all manufacturing areas. Essential Job Functions: Using ERP system, schedule production jobs based on available capacity in various production departments to ensure on time delivery to internal and external customers Monitor and investigate production jobs that become overdue and collect root cause data that can be used to target solutions Monitor, investigate, and resolve job cost issues and collect root cause data Demonstrate proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs Assist Production Supervisor in the continuous implementation, managing, and monitoring of Advance Planning System (APS) based scheduling Work with the Production Supervisor to prioritize and schedule resources (machine & labor) Monitor and report utilization of resources for efficiency and bottlenecks Monitor, and report percentage and cost of rework and scrap Assist Supervisor to verify that all jobs, reports, etc. are being completed on time and with accuracy Requirements Qualifications: Relevant degree or 2+ years demonstrated experience in the Planning/Scheduling of a Manufacturing/Machining/Assembly environment required Syteline/Infor/Cloud Suite Industrial experience required CPIM Certification preferred Proficient MS office skills required Must be able to work with sensitive Information by maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism required Commitment to comply with Company policies and procedures required Management reserves the right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
