The Production Planner plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GA Telesis processes. This role will be responsible for maintaining records and coordinating and scheduling maintenance and inspection requirements for aircraft and assembly components. **Important Notice: Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position. Responsibilities: Track and expedite all transactions since arrival throughout the shop daily. Track and manage gear sub-assemblies. Plan, schedule and monitor the movement of materials through the entire production process. Responsible for meeting ship dates on all Regional Shop customer requirements. The job duties include planning, scheduling, and coordinating inventory management to maintain production operations. Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage that may arise. Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products Plan and prioritize operations based on schedule to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay. Coordinate and keep control TAT of the components sent out for outside processing. Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.) Prepare and submit the status of components. Report inconsistencies that could jeopardize TAT. Qualifications: Aerospace industry knowledge Knowledge of production planning and quality control principles Strong negotiation/contracting, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to compile and present data in a format that facilitates information sharing and decision making
Responsibilities
The Production Planner will be responsible for tracking and expediting daily shop transactions, managing gear sub-assemblies, and planning/scheduling material movement throughout production to meet customer ship dates. This role also involves coordinating workflow, controlling turnaround time (TAT) for outsourced components, and reporting production status and inconsistencies.
