Description The Production Planner will be responsible for efficiently scheduling and coordinating manufacturing processes to meet production goals and customer demands. Potential Travel Requirements: 5% Domestic: 100% International: 0% Job Responsibilities/Key Accountabilities: Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize resource utilization. Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely availability of raw materials, work in progress, and resources. Generate and provide work orders to production. Establish due dates for each step of production. Update ERP to track progress of production activities, including planned hours, task completion, etc. Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing demands. Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Communicate with internal and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components. Collaborate with the operations team to resolve any production issues and delays. Generate regular reports on production performance and adherence to schedules. Coordinate internal and external quality inspections. Requirements Proven experience as a Production Planner in a manufacturing setting preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Experience working in a manufacturing environment producing custom products would be a plus. Excellent organization skills. Operate within a fast paced environment with a strong skillset in prioritizing tasks. Experience with Excel, Word and other Microsoft products. Experience with ERP/MRP systems. Operate within the manufacturing environment. Educational Requirements/Degree(s): High school diploma required.
