SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

To ensure that the highest possible customer delivery ratings are obtained in regard to the timely shipment of product and utilization of their electronic data interchange system.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of quality systems
• Solid time management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong in technology, Microsoft Office Applications

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with MRP systems (XA)
• Experience with IATF16949
• Experience with ISO14001 preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• May be required to work overtime

• Coordinate all internal manning, production, set ups and movement of product through all external processes to ensure timely shipment of desired quantities to meet customer’s requirements
• Reduce all levels of inventory (raw material, purchased components, semi-finished goods, work in process and finished goods) to maximize flexibility and responsiveness and minimize lead time, stockouts and obsolescence
• Produce monthly shop floor manning plan and determine manning shortages, overtime needs, etc.
• Set plan for inventory to meet monthly objectives
• Produce daily production schedule for the shop floor, to maximize resource utilization and meet all customer shipping requirements.
• Produce Inventory plan to hit weekly objectives.
