Description HYDAC is a fluid power leader that specializes in the design and development of custom solutions for mobile and industrial markets. We are currently seeking a qualified Production Planner to join our team at our Schaumburg, IL facility. The Production Planner will work with manufacturing to develop a schedule for the production of selected products or product lines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develops a schedule for completing the production of components to meet customer requirements on-time. Balance demand forecasts, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity. Monitor material availability and coordinate with purchasing. Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, shortages, and capacity constraints. Track production performance and adjust plans as needed. Maintain accurate planning data, BOMs, routings, and lead times. Works with Customer Service to forecast future production requirements in order to increase or decrease production levels accordingly. Monitors the work in progress to determine on-time shipments to customers. Prepares reports to Production management, customer service, QA, and product management identifying scheduling concerns and constraints. Requirements Skills and Attributes Must be organized and able prioritize based on defined variables. Must have strong people skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Excel A knowledge of machines, tools, and technology in manufacturing is required. Education and Experience Associates or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field 5-7 years experience in production planning or manufacturing scheduling. Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems - SAP Experience as a planner or scheduler preferred. #IND123
