Description

As a Production Planner, you will define a production plan for a portfolio of products based on raw material availability, equipment availability, manufacturing capacity (headcount) of production cells, and supplier capacity. You will always aim to communicate any necessary adjustments in the supply chain accurately and efficiently in order to increase or decrease incoming materials and ensure effective execution of planned schedules. You will also be responsible for reviewing proper execution and compliance with previously defined plans, providing support to the teams you collaborate with. Production Planning works closely with Purchasing, the VSM of assigned areas, and the core team within each production cell. The professional in this role is expected to develop optimal strategies due to the significant impact on the supply chain. This is an individual contributor role; you will report directly to the Production Planning Manager. The position is on-site at the facilities in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain production plans based on material, equipment, and capacity availability to ensure effective supply chain execution. Collaborate with Purchasing and production cells to adjust schedules and ensure compliance with defined plans.
