Description
Assist with supply and demand planning deliverables to support manufacturing cells. Help generate and validate work orders using MRP processes, ensuring timely release to manufacturing. Support monitoring and maintenance of the Master Production Schedule, including identifying root causes for delays. Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, Receiving, Quality, and Engineering teams to track build plans, backorder status, and potential schedule interruptions. Contribute to daily stand-up meetings by providing exception-based reporting on supply variances. Assist in analyzing demand forecasts and supporting the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Help with inventory reallocation projects to support cost reduction strategies. Participate in continuous improvement projects and support cross-functional teams with progress tracking. Develop and maintain Excel-based tools for metrics, variance tracking, and risk assessment. Perform other related duties as assigned. Develop skills in cross-functional collaboration and communication. Build a foundation for future roles in supply chain, operations, or production management. Junior or senior standing in 2026 or 2027, currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is a plus. Effective written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate across functions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills. Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or APICS/CPIM coursework is desirable but not required. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with limited guidance. Due to contractual and regulatory requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. PacSci EMC is a U.S. Department of State ITAR-regulated employer.
