Description

About us

We are a well-established manufacturer with a long history of delivering tailored solutions for businesses in the engineering and Industrial Manufacturing market. Built on strong values, operational excellence, and a commitment to customer partnership, the business continues to evolve and grow. With a forward-looking mindset, our client is investing in current opportunities, expanding into new markets, and strengthening its position for long-term success.

About the role:

This is more than a scheduling position.

As our Production Planner, you will be at the centre of our manufacturing operation, translating customer demand into achievable production plans that balance machine capacity, labour, tooling, material availability, maintenance requirements and inventory objectives.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work closely with Production, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Moulding, Customer Service and Operations to ensure production priorities are clear, achievable and aligned with customer delivery commitments.

The role requires someone who can see the bigger picture while maintaining solid control of the detail, anticipating constraints, responding to changing priorities and ensuring risks are identified and escalated before they impact production or customers.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

- Developing, maintaining and communicating daily, weekly, monthly and rolling production schedules aligned to customer demand and available capacity.

  • - Translating customer orders and forecasts into achievable production plans that support DIFOT and customer delivery commitments.
