Position Title: Production Planner - II Location: Open Loop Energy Inc., Safford, Arizona Company Overview: Open Loop Energy is a leading hydraulic repair facility specializing in providing high-quality hydraulic equipment repair and maintenance services to a diverse range of clients. Our dedicated team of experts is committed to delivering exceptional service and ensuring the reliable operation of hydraulic systems. Job Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Planner to join our team. As a Planner at Open Loop Energy, you will play a vital role in coordinating and optimizing our repair processes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of services. You will collaborate with various departments to schedule and allocate resources effectively. Responsibilities: * Work closely with the Sr. Planner to develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely completion of work. * Coordinate with technicians, engineers, and the supply chain team to ensure materials and resources are available when needed. * Create and maintain detailed work schedules, ensuring projects are executed in a timely manner. * Create and enter scope of work for all projects into the ERP system; checking for accuracy of all work estimates. * Monitor work progress and update schedules as needed to accommodate changes or unexpected developments. * Collaborate with the Production Manager and Shop Supervisors to optimize resource allocation and utilization. * Identify potential bottlenecks or issues in the repair process and propose solutions to improve efficiency. * Assist in generating reports on repair activities, turnaround times, and resource utilization. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus. · Proven experience in planning, scheduling, or coordination, preferably within a maintenance or repair environment. · Familiarity with hydraulic systems and equipment is highly desirable. · Strong organizational and time-management skills. · Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. · Proficiency in using scheduling software, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP/WMS systems. · Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively. · Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing situations. · Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field is advantageous.
