This Position reports to: Production Engineering Manager Key responsibilities You are responsible for the development and optimization of specialized manufacturing processes, with a focus on welding technology and printing methods. You work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for our production requirements. Your main tasks include: Responsibility for and further development of specialized manufacturing processes at the site, with a focus on welding technology and printing methods Specification of manufacturing processes, associated parameter management, equipment, and tools in collaboration with internal and external partners Execution and evaluation of manufacturing trials in cooperation with industry partners or within the in-house production environment Selection of processes and parameterization for the production of new products, considering both technical and economic aspects Structured and solution-oriented approach to the development and implementation of new manufacturing technologies Close collaboration with the departments of Production, Quality, Product Development, and IT Technical supervision of in-house automated production systems to ensure production targets Qualifications for the role Completed technical degree (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering) or a comparable qualification Several years of professional experience in the industrial application of welding and printing technologies In-depth understanding of technical processes and material properties High level of personal responsibility, independence, and goal orientation Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration You are at ease communicating in German.
