JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to join our client a major food manufacturer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery of products. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain processes, mechanical knowledge, and quality control standards. The Production Planner will work closely with various departments to optimise production flow and enhance overall efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a scheduling or planning role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is essential.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices.
  • Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding production equipment and processes.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various departments, fostering collaboration and teamwork.
