ACCOUNTABILITIES

• For the generating the master production schedule and the detail production plans that sit below that schedule, to allow execution of the production schedule on-time in full.
• For notifying projected ship dates for each order.
• For stagging raw material testing with quality control/assurance personnel to assure the timely release of raw materials to meet projected schedules.
• For establishing and reporting metrics for production, packaging and product delivery.
• For requesting the Issuance of Manufacturing and Packaging Records from Document Control as needed.
• For assessing the supply and demand of production, packaging and QC resources needed to deliver projected customer orders.

The Production Planner is responsible for generating the plans and schedules for production and packaging and expediting items required to meet plans. The Production Planner also reports performance against plans and escalates issues.
