Responsibilities
  • Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle for custom marble fabrications, including countertops, walls, vanities, and flooring, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
  • Develop and manage the production schedule for all fabrication and installation projects, optimizing workflow and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate directly with the production team to monitor progress, address any fabrication challenges, and ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications
  • Act as the primary client liaison from initial measurement appointments through to final installation, ensuring client satisfaction and clear communication throughout the process.
  • Gather and analyze operational data to support the preparation of accurate estimates, detailed schedules, project specifications, and performance reports.
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on all outgoing products and installations to uphold the company’s commitment to excellence in marble craftsmanship.
  • Establish and refine manufacturing and processing methods for various stone types, adjust machine settings for optimal cutting and finishing, and supervise all production activities to maintain high standards.
  • Implement and refine programs for production management, inventory control of raw slabs and finished goods, and comprehensive quality assurance protocols specific to natural stone fabrication
  • Verify all sales orders and pricing for accuracy, ensuring alignment with client agreements and company profitability.
  • Develop and execute robust plans for workplace health, safety, and fire prevention, including conducting regular training sessions tailored to the specific risks of a stone fabrication environment.
  • Assist in the planning and optimization of the workshop layout to enhance efficiency and safety in the cutting, polishing, and staging areas.
  • Perform work measurement studies and other operational analyses to identify areas for improvement in production efficiency and cost reduction.
