Description

JOB OBJECTIVE:

The Production Planner will be responsible for creating, coordinating, and controlling the production schedule to ensure that manufacturing runs efficiently, cost-effectively, and meets customer delivery timelines. Acting as the central link between sales, procurement, warehouse, and production teams, this role ensures resources are aligned, deadlines are met, and costs are controlled. The Production Planner also anticipates potential delays, resolves bottlenecks, and maintains production flow so that customer orders are delivered on time, at the right quality, and in a cost-effective manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as a Production Planner, preferably in manufacturing, refrigeration, or HVAC industries.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning principles, material requirements planning (MRP), and ERP/WMS systems.
  • Familiarity with ISO/IMS standards and lean manufacturing practices is an advantage.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain production schedules in line with customer orders, forecasts, and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
  • Monitor production progress, identify delays or bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Optimize resource utilization including manpower, machinery, and materials.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on production performance and schedule adherence. Ensure production plans align with quality standards, safety requirements, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, QA, and Logistics) to support seamless operations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs.
