Position: Production Planner/Scheduler Location: Lancaster, PA Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm Compensation: Negotiable based on experience/fair market value Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire Purpose & Scope: This crucial role will be responsible for planning and optimizing a detailed production schedule which ensures alignment of customer demands, inventory levels, and production capacity. Essential Duties May Include: Schedule 10+ plastic injection molding machines while minimizing downtime and maximizing machine utilization Coordinating with other departments to allocate the resources, materials, equipment, and personnel needed to effectively run production Anticipate and mitigate potential issues or shortages that may interrupt production Oversee the inventory of raw materials and finished goods to ensure supply levels are adequate and available for upcoming scheduled runs Identify opportunities for improvement regarding efficiency, cost reduction, and downtime Ensure timely delivery of all customer goods and proactively communicate any potential delays that may occur Requirements Five plus (5+) years of previous experience planning and scheduling plastic injection molding machines and labor Professional written and verbal communication Strong computer skills and knowledge of IQMS Meticulous attention to detail Benefits offered to you: Paid Time Off including holidays and vacation Health, Dental, and Vision insurance 2 Health Plan Options – One with fully reimbursed deductible!
