OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Planner/Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing production processes and ensuring efficient scheduling of resources to meet manufacturing goals. This position requires a strong understanding of production management, supply chain analytics, and continuous improvement methodologies.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP principles and supply chain analytics is required.
  • Experience in continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing techniques, is preferred.
  • Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing processes will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including plant management and operations management, to align production plans with business objectives.
  • Utilize ERP systems and MRP tools to forecast demand and manage inventory levels effectively.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance process efficiency and reduce waste within the production environment.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement in production planning and quality control.
  • Coordinate with assembly teams to ensure that all components are available for production runs, minimizing downtime.
  • Monitor production performance metrics and recommend process improvements based on findings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of scheduling activities, changes, and updates in line with best practices in supply chain management.
