REQUIREMENTS

  • Post High School education, preferably in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
  • 2-3 years’ experience in manufacturing production scheduling or planning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to learn and maintain data in ERP system
  • Good planning, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong math and analytical skills as well as written and verbal communication
  • Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing facility

Responsibilities
  • Establishes, manages, reviews, and maintains production schedules for all of production work centers to ensure that the master production schedule is being executed based on delivery expectations, capacity, and material availability, utilizing ERP system.
  • Daily analysis, planning, and review of work center and labor capacity based on requirements.
  • Revise production schedules when required due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with production management and supply chain.
  • Maintain and review reports targeting customer promise delivery dates. Communicate with customer care on status of orders and estimated completion and share any potential issues.
  • Coordinate with Production Managers and production leads for effective sequencing of shop orders and processes to individual work centers or lines.
  • Plan Engineering Change Order tasks for production control, analyzing material usage and implementation timing, and updating shop orders for parts and assemblies with production. Manage obsolescence and excess inventory due to the changes.
  • Implement material substitutions as needed, coordinating these with supply chain and inventory to ensure accuracy.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required
