Overview: A Semiconductor Production Planner coordinates and optimizes the flow of materials, and production schedules within a semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role ensures that production targets are met on time, within budget, and at the required quality standards, while minimizing downtime and bottlenecks. Key Responsibilities: Production Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules to meet customer delivery dates and manufacturing capacity. Material Planning: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials, wafers, and components. Workflow Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure smooth production flow and resolve bottlenecks. Capacity Management: Assess equipment availability, maintenance schedules, and labor resources to optimize throughput. Data Analysis & Reporting: Track production metrics, analyze variances, and recommend process improvements. Change Management: Adjust plans in response to design changes, urgent orders, or supply chain disruptions. Compliance & Quality: Ensure production plans align with industry standards, safety protocols, and quality requirements. Core Competencies: Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Adaptable to rapidly changing priorities. Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams. Proactive in identifying and resolving production risks. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience). Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or high-tech production planning preferred. Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
