Role Overview

We're looking for a Site Planner to join our Supply Chain team and play a key role in ensuring we have the right products, materials and resources available to meet customer demand.

Working closely with Production, Operations and Purchasing teams, you'll turn forecasts into achievable plans, balancing customer requirements, factory capacity and stock levels to keep our operation running smoothly. This is a highly visible role where you'll have the opportunity to influence performance, solve problems and drive continuous improvement across the site.

Key Duties

  • Develop and maintain accurate production, demand and materials plans to support customer requirements.
  • Create and communicate daily, weekly and medium-term production schedules.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy, customer demand and service levels, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Coordinate protein and raw material requirements with Purchasing and operational teams.
  • Lead planning inputs for S&OP, promotional events and seasonal peaks.
  • Manage inventory levels to minimise waste, obsolescence and supply risk.
  • Build strong relationships across Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial and Customer teams.
  • Analyse performance data and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve service, efficiency and cost performance.

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems and collaborating with others to achieve results.

  • Experience within Planning, Supply Chain, Logistics or Manufacturing.
  • Strong analytical skills and a confident approach to decision making.
  • Excellent Excel and systems capability.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience within chilled food manufacturing, FMCG or production planning would be advantageous but is not essential.

Why Join Us?

This role offers the opportunity to influence day-to-day operational performance, work closely with senior stakeholders and develop broad Supply Chain experience. You'll gain exposure to forecasting, production planning, inventory management and continuous improvement projects while playing a vital role in delivering excellent customer service across the business.
