Description

An exciting opportunity has become available within our Planning and Logistics team in the role of a Production Planner. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and co-ordinating production schedules to meet customer demands, optimise manufacturing efficiency and ensure the timely delivery of products. You will play a key role in balancing supply and demand, minimising downtime, and supporting quality and cost targets.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, Fridays 8am to 4pm.

Responsibilities

· Develop & maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts & inventory levels.
· Collaborate with the production, development, procurement & sales teams to ensure efficient material flow & resource allocation.
· Monitor daily production performance & adjust plans as needed to address bottlenecks, machine breakdowns, or supply chain issues.
· Coordinate with the moulding team to prioritise tooling & machine setup based on production needs.
· Analyse production capacity & identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
· Maintain accurate records of production data, work orders & inventory usage.
· Ensure compliance with quality standards & production specifications.
· Communicate effectively with internal departments to manage changes in schedules & priorities.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives.
