POSITION SUMMARY

This position is for Production Planner I position and will do a portion of the various key responsibilities listed below as
instructed by Management. The Production Planner I position is responsible for planning production of finished good products, raw material replenishment, and inventory management ensuring no supply interruptions using standardized processes. The position will transition into sole responsibility for production planning activities for multiple production lines. Execution must happen in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner while maintaining a high level of quality and customer satisfaction. This position may work in the field and does not need to be physically located at the plants for which they do production planning.

QUALIFICATIONS - EXTERNAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated ability to execute against standard Oracle processes.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with others both internal/external.
  • Proven accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Unwavering dedication to safety, quality, and cost goals of USG.
  • Proficient in using a computer and possess an ability to learn new tools and processes.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

  • 3 years with USG preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Supply Chain Planning experience using Oracle or comparable ERP planning tools within USG or in supply chain organizations outside USG preferred.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Any Supply Chain or Logistics certifications are a plus.
    Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
