Our goal is to cultivate a culture of belonging that encourages innovation, collaboration, and respect for all team members, ensuring that WWT remains a great place to work for All!   #LI-BL1 Qualifications A Production Planner manages analytical and transactional work to support the Production Planning and Scheduling elements of WWT's Global Order Operations function.  Reporting to leader within Production Planning & Scheduling, an individual in this role manages the production plan and development of schedules to meet the overall demand of the Integration Centers, which includes creative solutioning to mitigate risks or resolve issues related to capacity and customer timelines.  This individual works cross functionally and applies a continuous improvement mindset to make recommendations on process and/or system enhancements.    This job description describes the general nature and level of work required by the position. Nothing in this job description changes the existing at-will employment relationship between the Company and the employee occupying the position.   Job Responsibilities * Maintains production plan from planning through scheduling/release to execution (assigned by time horizon, work cell and/or level of complexity) * Performs detailed analysis on the demand picture against material availability, identifies gaps and collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide solutions * Analyzes capacity plan, maintains changes to the plan and proactively seeks solutions to potential capacity challenges that will resolve schedule issues * Facilitates dynamic solutioning, as needed, and performs data analysis that influences improvements to the tools, process and systems. * Leads daily/weekly, cross-functional meetings, to ensure clarity and alignment across teams, hold teams accountable to key actions required for effective planning and scheduling   Education A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.   Work Experience A minimum of 2 years' progressive experience in a related field   Other Work Experience * 2-4 years equivalent industry experience in Production Planning / Scheduling * 2+ years’ experience or technical training in Production Planning and/or Scheduling in the supply chain or manufacturing industry * Familiarity with supply chain management disciplines and capacity planning is preferred * Experience in ERP System along with a high proficiency in MS Office Software * Experience in a fast-paced production environment with various constraints * Experience in production planning, manufacturing, or supply chain, preferred * Experience with Microsoft Excel and data analysis   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Promote the World Wide Technology Core Values and Corporate Goals * Enjoys tackling new challenges and seizing the opportunity to deliver results through hard work * Efficiently and effectively communicates information to promote collaboration and HPT * Able to convey ideas clearly and succinctly through written communication * Effectively manages their time to deliver work efficiently * Always applies a customer service mindset and strives to deliver customer delight * Persistent and determined in the face of adversity * Demonstrates effective prioritization skills in an environment with many competing demands * Possesses a strong intellect with ability to comfortably navigate complex concepts * Comfortably navigates unstructured and ambiguous situations with flexibility and confidence * Applies superior critical thinking skills to identify solutions to difficult problems data and make decisions in a fast-changing environment where there is typically risk and ambiguity * This position is required to work in a fast-paced environment production environment with a focus on doing whatever it takes to get the job done and delivering customer delight * The nature of the role requires an ability to deliver results on time through successful navigation of shifting customer requirements and competing organizational demands * Standard business hours are generally observed, with work from home schedules and flexibility on start/end times * This role will be expected to work in an open-office environment with desk sharing/hoteling practices * This position is required to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering customer delight. * Salaried positions are exempt from overtime pay. At times, this position may be required to work more than 40 hours a week with or without non-exempt employees who will be on overtime, but this will not affect your salaried compensation, and this position will not receive any additional overtime pay. * The physical demands are essential functions of this job.
