Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • To be the resource owner for P&C professionals in the relevant business area ensuring alignment to generic roles and development of skills in role to the required level.
  • To be a P&C ambassador, coaching cross-functional teams on the importance of P&C processes and the adherence to them.
  • Ensure the team uses RRSL planning processes to create and maintain robust & credible plans that meet customer requirement and are deployed to support delivery.
  • To proactively identify any future risk to material supply and drive risk reduction / business continuity plan actions.
  • Where performance diverges from the plan, identify and drive actions required to facilitate recovery. Ensure awareness within the value stream of delivery issues, mitigations and recovery plans.
  • Ensure appropriate scheduling and resourcing of P&C standard diary and closure of related actions arising. Support IPPR Level 2 reviews as required.
  • To oversee Commit Accept, Orderbook Reviews and Load & Capacity planning processes to ensure delivery plans are supported by realistic manufacturing performance and robust inbound supply plans.
  • To ensure the ERP system reflects current commitments and drive ERP compliance with the team, to enable robust plans through high integrity data that meet customer requirement and are deployed to support delivery.
  • To support appropriate CoP’s and process councils, ensuring sharing of best practice and continuous improvement of standard processes.

  • Broad understanding of different roles / functions / processes (e.g. Manufacturing, Purchase, NPI, ME etc).
  • Sound knowledge of production planning and control processes & principles.
  • Knowledge of and working experience with MRP systems
