Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

The Production Planning team develops manufacturing schedules that align with production, cost, and quality objectives. By using capacity planning and coordinating across departments, the team ensures that customer shipping requirements are met while supporting new product launches and resolving critical planning challenges.
As a Production Planning Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in capacity planning, scheduling, and cross-functional collaboration, while supporting the smooth execution of daily operations and long-term projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Using capacity planning to build manufacturing plans that align with shipping requirements
  • Scheduling, contacting, and expediting parts from internal work centers to ensure timely availability
  • Analyzing and resolving critical planning issues that impact production or delivery
  • Liaising with various departments to ensure successful and timely execution of new product launches
  • Supporting the development of manufacturing schedules that meet production, cost, and quality goals
