About the Role

Bridgestone is looking for a Production Planning Manager to join our Business Operations – Retread team at Eastwood, reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Operations – Retread.

The role is responsible for balancing demand and production capacity across our national retread network, ensuring efficient operations, inventory optimisation, and strong collaboration across multiple stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead production planning and scheduling activities across our retread factories to ensure customer demand is met efficiently.
  • Manage national safety stock levels and inventory planning to optimise product availability and reduce supply risks.
  • Partner with sales, supply chain, logistics, and factory teams to improve operational performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and mitigate production risks, resolving bottlenecks and coordinating responses to operational disruptions.
  • Provide leadership and oversight of the national casing function while supporting capability development and business performance objectives.

About You

You're an analytical and collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You enjoy solving complex operational challenges, building strong stakeholder relationships, and driving improvements that deliver results.

Additionally, you'll have:

  • Experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, supply chain, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials management, and supply chain operations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and influencing stakeholders across multiple sites or functions.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems and strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
