Description
You will monitor a department, inventory, and production schedule. You will maintain efficient inventory of production materials. You will create planning and produce reports about new programs, and plans. You will lead the operation meeting and Weekly Supply review meeting. You will be reporting to the Plant Manager, based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia Key Responsibilities Ensure the team comply to PPG EHS, Quality system IS0 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and Ethics requirements. Oversee one EHSMS Element and complete the work required. Develop and implement plans for organizing finished stocks availability and raw material availability, oversee master schedules, and monitor inventory lists and supply orders Manage planning compliance and spending within the budget. To ensure the team issue monthly build plan. Ensure the planners produce 30 or 60-days production plan and weekly supply review with demand planners. Develop plans to accomplish business strategy related to planning and ensure meet the delivery plan and communicate back with the stakeholders if any issues. Work with operation to develop action plans improve WIP reduction, pull system and cycle time reduction. Managing the Raw Material (RM) store; daily activity; stock control, and pre-assembly. To collaborate with supply chain team to ensure the forecast, finish good safety stocks and inventory of RM reviewed constantly. Review the team performance and offer trainings and development. Other responsibilities assigned from time to time. Qualifications Minimum degree in relevant background or equivalent is required. Minimum 6 years of total working experience with at least 3 years' experience as planning manager role within Manufacturing industry. Knowledge in scheduling, forecasting, procurement and planning. SAP/Oracle knowledge would be great. Abel to work independently and meet tight schedules. Coach the team and adapt to new programs.
