Our client, a leading steel producer in Eastern Ontario with more than 600 employees, is undertaking a major transformation of its planning processes through the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365. The company is looking for a Production Planning Specialist to lead the planning stream of this initiative.
The mandateReporting to the SIOP Planning Manager, the specialist will evaluate the current production planning process and, in collaboration with the D365 project team and an external implementation consultant, develop the D365 planning process that meets the company's requirements. This is a pivotal role: over the first year, the successful candidate will both run day-to-day production planning and deliver a working D365 planning process adopted by the teams.
