Job Posting Title Production & Quality Associate Job Description   Did you know you can make a positive impact on first responder health and safety?  Gear Wash is a Fire-Dex family-owned Independent Service Provider (ISP) of personal protective equipment (PPE) care and maintenance. We’re seeking a self-motivated Production & Quality Associate. They will provide production intake and output while using their computer, troubleshooting, physical and detail-oriented skills. Provide both warehouse and quality support through receiving and logging orders, processing, inspecting and testing orders and packaging garment orders for shipping various personal protective equipment (PPE) for firefighters.  KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Intake, tag, sort, and process incoming garment orders * Operate commercial laundry equipment * Accurately enter garment data into the internal tracking system * Inspect and test PPE garments following company procedures and quality standards * Package finished orders for shipping * Assist with pick-ups and deliveries using a company vehicle * Travel to support customer needs (up to 40%, including weekday overnights) * Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of cleaning, inspection, testing, and general operating procedures * Provide support to the repair department as needed * May assist with creating invoices * Follow all safety procedures to ensure a clean, secure work environment * Perform additional duties as assigned Work Hours:  Monday through Thursday 1st shift 7:00 am – 5:30 pm.
