We all work out of our (legendary) San Francisco office, which was once used to build ships during the World Wars.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace, military or manufacturing environment
  • Substantial knowledge of the control of nonconforming hardware, failure/root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action processes
  • Experience reading and interpreting design drawings and CAD models
  • Experience with performing electronic testing and inspection using portable measuring devices and lab equipment (microscopes, testers, scopes, etc)
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently with a strong work ethic, be innovative, detail oriented, possess initiative, and team oriented
  • Willing and able to work overtime and/or weekends as required
Responsibilities
  • Perform in-process inspection and final verification of flight hardware to drawing, process specifications, and work order requirements supporting multiple work centers (assembly, integration, wire harnessing, or test)
  • Identify, document, and verify resolution of production and test non-conformances in accordance with prescribed procedures and pursue corrective action as required
  • Interface with engineering and production to communicate and help resolve nonconforming issues
  • Independently perform inspections and verifications, documenting results in a clear, precise, and complete manner
  • Support quality management system policies and procedure documentation, assess compliance to company and industry standards, initiate and lead continual improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment
