Summary
For the “Production IR Cameras” division, we are looking for a “Production Quality Specialist for IR Camera Systems (f/m/d)” at the Oberkochen site as soon as possible.
We produce IR thermal imaging cameras for use in stationary and mobile applications. The sensors are used in land vehicles as well as in airborne applications and in the maritime sector.
Production starts with the construction of the optical beam path, through cabling and marriage, to full commissioning and final acceptance.
These systems are used for reconnaissance and the protection of borders, objects and people.

Your Tasks

  • Error management and practical problem solving in production, implementation of Failure Review Boards
  • Occasional visual inspections as part of series production and repair activities
  • Preparation and implementation of acceptance tests for assemblies and products (internally and with the client’s inspection officers)
  • Supporting the production management / project management on site in the relevant QM topics as well as in internal and external audits / reviews
  • Collaboration on improvements in production and the implementation of Q concepts

Your Profile

  • Technical vocational training with a further qualification as a master craftsman / technician (f/m/d) or a comparable qualification desirable
  • Several years of professional experience in production
  • Further training as a quality specialist and experience in the application of problem-solving methods
  • Experience in SAP and QM
  • Independent and systematic way of working
  • High degree of initiative
  • Strong communication skills, assertiveness and ability to reach consensus
  • Good written and spoken English skills
