This often includes: * Tracking fabrication progress across departments * Updating production schedules to reflect real-time progress * Identifying risks to project deadlines and working with teams to resolve them * Ensuring projects are staged properly for the next phase of fabrication or installation Because many ID3 projects are custom and fast-moving, adaptability and problem-solving are key. PREPARING FOR TOMORROW’S BUILDS Before the day wraps up, the Production Scheduler ensures the next day’s production plan is ready. This may involve: * Confirming drawings and materials are ready for fabrication * Aligning priorities with Project Managers and shop leadership * Preparing updated schedules for the fabrication teams * Ensuring projects remain on track for delivery and installation deadlines A well-prepared schedule keeps the shop running smoothly and projects moving forward. WHAT MAKES SOMEONE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE Successful Production Schedulers at ID3 typically bring experience in environments where fabrication, detailing, and production must work closely together. Preferred backgrounds include: * Custom fabrication or scenic production * Exhibit fabrication * Manufacturing or shop production scheduling * Experiential or themed environments Strong candidates also have: * Experience coordinating with Project Managers and CAD Detailers * Understanding of shop workflows and production sequencing * Strong organization and communication skills * Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities * Comfort working in a fast-paced fabrication environment BUILD WITH ID3 At ID3, our team creates custom scenic environments, experiential installations, and fabrication-driven projects that require collaboration across design, detailing, and production.
