Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Production Scheduler to join a dynamic manufacturing team. This role plays a key part in supporting production operations and ensuring scheduling excellence to meet customer and operational demands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate with production, purchasing, QA, and sales teams to prioritize and schedule orders.
  • Develop, distribute, and maintain production schedules to meet targets, minimize changeovers, and maximize capacity.
  • Participate in scheduling meetings with planning, production, and warehouse staff.
  • Liaise with internal departments to confirm all materials are received, released, and ready for scheduled runs.
  • Communicate schedule changes to the production manager and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and follow up on delayed components listed on the purchasing expedite report.
  • Work with the planner to revise customer run times when needed.
  • Adjust schedules as necessary to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Assist with purchasing duties as assigned.
