SOME OF YOUR TASKS MAY BE:

As Production Scheduler, some of your tasks will be, but not limited to:

• Develop, maintain, and communicate daily and weekly laboratory production schedules based on client demand, sample receipt, and operational capacity.
• Coordinate sample throughput across multiple departments to ensure turnaround times are met.
• Monitor progress of laboratory work orders, identify bottlenecks, and make adjustments as required.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team leaders to manage workloads and reallocate resources where needed.
• Ensure accurate data entry and tracking of work orders in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Communicate scheduling updates and potential delays to internal stakeholders and clients as needed.
• Forecast workload trends and contribute to staffing/resource planning.
• Participate in daily operational meetings to align production goals with department capabilities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and scheduling accuracy.
