Job description The Production Scheduler I is responsible for scheduling and maintaining work center schedules, task and deliverables lists, producing reports, records and other essential documentation related to ongoing production and in support of future production. Job Duties Review Material Requirements Planning (MRP) daily and create and release job travelers to the shop floor. Create and release rework/split jobs as required. Perform reallocation and/or scrap processes to support the shop floor as necessary. Create Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) for customer returns. Maintain schedules, task and deliverables lists by work center. Regularly interface with the Engineering Team to maintain accurate, updated information. Maintain liaison with management regarding scheduling activities and priorities. Communicate daily with shop floor managers, leads, and peers on job releases, constraints, production schedule, and priorities. Interact with warehouse and supply chain personnel to support inventory management and kitting activities. Confirm material supply and demand. Prepare work orders or purchase requests for the production or procurement of components based on the master production schedule, shop load, inventory, and spare requirements. Schedule and expedite the movement of parts through move orders, stock transfers, and shipping requests. Pull relevant production and inventory data from SAP to support planning, scheduling, and reporting needs. Develop, maintain, and report KPIs in Microsoft Excel using data extracted from SAP. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field. Prior experience in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, expediting, or production scheduling. Proficiency in SAP, especially in using it to extract data for planning and reporting purposes, is required. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to create dashboards, pivot tables, and KPI reports. Basic proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred). Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Teams). Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong planning and time management skills. Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently. The compensation range is $65,000 to $75,000 in base salary plus an annual target bonus.
