KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Safety – a great understanding of how to keep people and product safe. IOSH preferred
Process – a clear ability to quickly grasp an understanding of process and develop understanding in others
Food Hygiene – experience and familiarity with food hygiene systems food safety and BRC standards
Continuous Improvement – basic understanding of how good manufacturing practice works; shift reviews, daily reviews, weekly reviews
Communication – ability to convey messages quickly and simply to the relevant audience.
People Development – knows how to develop a team, motivate individuals in a way that they feel ownership and accountability for delivery.
Lead and develop the production team so that they work in a safe manner and produce to ever improving standards
Take ownership for the development of standards, processes and procedures so that the lines start in the most efficient manner.
Drive for continuous improvement and seek out stars within the teams, give them leadership and encouragement they deserve to enable them to shine.
Actively contribute to the wider site agenda of delivering improvements to do the best for
