Description As the Production Shift Supervisor, you are responsible for leading and overseeing all production activities during your assigned shift, including production, post-production, quality, and shipping. This role ensures operational efficiency, on-time delivery, and adherence to quality standards across departments. You will provide hands-on leadership on the floor, remove bottlenecks in real time, and ensure clear communication between shift leads and team members. What you’ll do Oversee all production operations during your assigned shift, including production, post-production, quality control, and shipping Prioritize daily workload and allocate labor to ensure orders are completed on time Identify and resolve production bottlenecks by redistributing resources as needed Ensure all departments produce and ship parts that meet established quality standards Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient production floor Lead shift huddles to ensure clear communication, alignment on priorities, and smooth shift transitions Support training, coaching, and development of team members and shift leads Address personnel concerns and administer corrective action when necessary in partnership with leadership Communicate with Customer Support and Preflight teams regarding order issues and collaborate on solutions Complete end-of-shift reporting and operational updates Perform other related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Clear and effective communication skills with all levels of management Ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced, high-growth environment Experience handling personnel issues and administering corrective action Preferred Qualifications Experience in sheet metal fabrication or CNC manufacturing Experience leading multi-department production teams Familiarity with production tracking systems or workflow management tools Experience driving process improvements or efficiency initiatives Essential Physical Requirements Ability to repeatedly lift 25 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand and walk for 10 to 12 hour shifts Ability to bend, reach, and work around large industrial equipment Work Environment Manufacturing and production floor environment Work performed around CNC lasers, press brakes, and material handling equipment Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and metal materials Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Benefits Medical, Dental, & Vision coverage Paid holidays + PTO 401K with company match Tuition reimbursement Paid parental leave Short-term disability Lunch provided daily Employee discount on parts Schedule Friday - Sunday 5:00pm - 5:00am
