Description Cima specializes in the design, fabrication, and installation of high-quality signage for diverse clients. If you're looking for a job that allows you to be hands on, passionate, and build incredible signs, we're currently hiring for full-time positions in our Channel Letter department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure products are being built to specification and meeting customers’ standards. Operates equipment used to cut, bend, and drill to specified shapes. Operates metal fabricating machines including shears, saws, breaks, bending machines, and punch and forming presses. Weld, rivet, and bold components together, primarily aluminum. Review daily schedule requirements to determine priorities. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety protocols and quality control procedures. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Must be mechanical inclined and able to use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) 1+ years of experience in Sign Production or Related Field. Understanding of different materials used in Sign Production. Prefer current and unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; work with their hands handle, or feel, whether directly manipulating components or using controls on an assembly machine. Employee must be able to talk or hear over shop noise. Employee must be able to stand for extended periods of time at worktables. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move 50 to 75 pounds and move it for at least 50 feet. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
