Job Summary: The individual will spend time each day creating “kits” of raw materials required to fabricate aerospace products based off of the production schedule. This role will also support operation functions that include processes such as tube cutting, polishing, cleaning, and deburring tubes. Schedule: 1st (Day) Shift: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm Responsibilities: Obtaining daily production schedules and identifying the required raw materials for the quantity scheduled to run Locating the necessary raw materials, pulling them from their location and recording the transaction in the ERP system Packaging these items needed for production runs into a container/bag as a kit Moving packaged kits to their respective areas for production lines Operate a chop saw, sander, grinder, dynafile, XRF, etc. Form, clean, cold work, polish, and inspect product using fixtures, jigs, shop aids, etc. to meet requirements Follows written work instructions and tech cards. Must comply with all safety requirements. Maintains operator maintenance on tools and equipment. Keeps work area clean and free from debris Work Environment: May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, smoke (Not over OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels). Safety training and equipment are provided by MPP in accordance with applicable law, industry standards and company policy. Occasionally lifts 25 – 45lbs.
